We heartily recommend you go to THIS, Monday 10 December, at CCA Glasgow. Not only does it feature honourary Phantum Lucky Flower, but also our Phantum Synth-fix Jim “The Singing Cat” McKenna, in a live scenario.

It’s Sunday 24 June 2012. Nothing much to report…

Firstly, WE would like to say SORRY AS FUCK to people who have bought T-Shirts and stuff from us while we’ve not been around. While we are not around, we aren’t able to send T-Shirts and stuff to people. Unfortunately, we’ve not been around at Phantom HQ. But we (someone) will be, tomorrow.

Secondly, thanks to everyone who attended our ZigZag Redbeard’s solo shows (With Adam Stafford) – they were nice things – and bought the single. If you haven’t already done so, BUY IT HERE.

Turdly, if anyone is interested, Phantom Wako will be rotating a selection of Doo Wop and Surf type vinyl records in THE ART BAR, Dundee tonight (Sun 24 June) from 9ish.

Just a wee note to say that our booking (Worldwide excluding N.America) is now going through the all-new NOMANIS AGENCY. We are continuing to work with CLAIRE COURTNEY and her updated contact details are in the SAY/ABOUT BOOKING sexshun of this here webshite. Thanks.

Our very own Nobodaddy (Wako) was let loose on the RememberRemember track Unclean Powers, on Rock Action Records. It’s for their remix album ‘The Mixening’, which is all the tracks off their awesome recent album The Quickening, remixed by various friends. Using a mixture of modular and analogue synths, this has ended up being a bit of an epic medley of all things disco…
And what’s more, it’s free to download HERE.

…And thanks to all who came to our ファントマイム. Here are some memories for those who did:

Only one week to go until the first night of Phantomime! And tickets are running out. Some have been made available now at Chemikal Underground’s Shop, Avalanche (Edinburgh) and Grouchos (Dundee)… as well as Fopp Byres Road (Glasgow), Monorail Music (Glasgow), Tickets-Scotland and TicketWeb. They are now short supply.

Look out for show previews in The Herald, The Scotsman, The Skinny and others…

Since their incredible album launch last Sunday, we’re fuckin stoked to announce that MUSCLES OF JOY are included on our Friday bill at the PHANTOMIME… how cool as shit is that?

Torsten Lauschmann

OK we might be biased, seeing as Torsten Lauschmann is an old friend of phantom (and just might be doing something or other for our Phestive Phantomime on 16 and 17 December at Stereo, Glasgow!), but if you get the opportunity, go and see his show at Dundee Contemporary Arts – whether or not you are normally inclined to go and see contemporary art, we guarantee that this will thrill you to bits either way… and it’s amazing to see so much of Torsten’s work in one place, and in such a big space; first time in ages I’ve spent a long time in one solo show and spent the entire time with a big a cheesy grin across my face!

merry christmas kids. just to let you know we’ve got something a bit fancy planned for the 16th and 17th of December. More details to follow when we can be hooped sharing it – watch this empty space. Mark your diaries though, check your passport isn’t due to expire, dig out your tinsel titty tassles…
